Trail Description:
Well, we started out heading for Black Lake, but we never made it. Ended up with a nice snowshoe tho. It got pretty steep at times, and we lost the trail once, but ended up finding Mills Lake (at least I think that was the lake we made it to). We wandered past that and up a hill towards Black Lake (I think), but then ate lunch and headed back. Snow was spotty in places, and very compacted along the trail (no new snow in quite some time). Still, it was nice, and a beautiful day. We got there early - around 8:30 am, and had the place mostly to ourselves. On the way back it got much more crowded (lots of folks probably just heading up to the Falls area. I'd say we did about 6 or 7 miles round trip.
