Trail Description:
This trail leaves the south side of the Brainard Lake winter parking area and heads approx 1.5 miles up to the Left Hand Reservoir, crossing the Sourdough Trail along the way. The elevation gain is moderate, around 700 feet total. This trail also allows dogs.

Was there on Saturday, March 3, 2007. Plenty of snow on the trail, there were a few almost-bare patches but not until you got near the lake where the wind had blown some of the snow off (and was still blowing HARD on Saturday!)
