Trail Description:
The trail leaves the parking area and heads up into Herman Gulch for approximately 2.5 miles, climbing just over 1200 feet vertical. The trail splits near the trailhead, stay left up a steep pitch for just under half a mile. There are two avalanche paths along the right side of the trail past the steep part, be sure to keep an eye out. Timberline marks the end of the trail (due to avalanche conditions.)
