Trail Description:
Up to 4.5 miles one way and 1850 feet elevation gain. Add 1 mile and about 200 feet elevation if the road is closed at the first hairpin.
This is a great 'advanced' beginner trail. The avalanche hazard and exposure are very low. The trail is well marked with blazes and for the most part follows a ridge above West Chicago Creek.
