Trail Description:

The North Rock Creek trail leaves the summer parking area to the south-west. The trail does not have significant uphill until around 1.4 miles, then it begins climbing a hill to the Boss Mine, which has building and equipment remains.

If you leave the winter parking area expect a 1.3 mile hike along the road to get to the summer parking area.

Snow was not bad, no bare patches on the trail, it was consistently covered. Also deep enough I would not want to just hike it without snowshoes (or skis).

Did not make it to the Boss Mine as I was unsure how much further it was and we were running out of time.
