Driving Directions to Deer Creek Valley:
Take Highway 285 south out of Denver. Turn right (north) on County Highway 43, there is a Loaf-N-Jug gas station on the corner. Follow Highway 43 to the end, pay attention for the fork in the road near the end. The summer parking is near "Camp Creek Road" and is approximately 8 miles after turning off Highway 285.

Visited January 20, 2007. The trail itself had plenty of snow though some of the south-facing hills near the parking lot were bare. Be aware hiking up the road to the summer trailhead that there are private residences along the edges. You may also encounter snowmobile traffic on the road.
